I love to write and this Blog (Built with Grace) is near and dear to my heart. However, in praise to our God, my ministry hasn’t allowed me the time to write as often as I’d like. On those days when I’m unable to write I’m going to try to share blogs from other brothers and sisters in Jesus. May you be blessed by these other writers as well. God Bless you all.


Waterside begins this year with a new discipline from which it chooses to operate for the entire year-and that is prayer.  Prayer, for the most part, is seen and used by most folks as an emergency phrase or activity when all else fails.  It is often the last thing people do when facing adversity.  Obviously, we have let things get away from us, and we will not be able to continue in this thinking for long until we realize that there is literally something we are missing in our lives because we treat prayer so poorly.

We begin a journey in 2014 that will lead us through a number of “Seasons4Prayer.”  We want to take the time to see prayer as a multi-dimensional tool of communication with our Lord, Savior, Creator, and Holy Spirit as we live each one of our days.  We will take a look at prayer as…
