I am…Promised

I am...promised

“Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” 2 Peter 1:4 NIV

We are promised so many great things in regards to our salvation. The comfort of Christ, cleansing of sin, unending love, and the list goes on. Normally, I have taken promises with a grain of salt, because let’s face it, people are not very dependable. Well at least that has been my understanding from my life. However, God is not like man, making idle promises and speaking careless words. When God makes a statement or gives a promises, that is something with more strength than a rock. You can be assured that you can build a life on God’s word.
